Tractor Requirements:
- Tractor age not to exceed 10 years
- Must be in compliance with DOT Annual Inspection criteria
- No frame modifications
- Exhaust system mufflers and heat shields
- Professional appearance
- Windshields and cab must be free of accessories which obstructs driver’s vision
- Maximum 20,000lbs including driver and fuel
- Highest point not to exceed 11’6”
- Wheelbase of 185” to 220”
- ECM set at 65mph maximum speed
Independent Contractor / Owner Operator CDL-A Truck Driver Eligibility:
- Applicant must be at least 22 years of age.
- Must have a Class A CDL with Tanker and HazMat endorsements, before hired. Note: The Dry Bulk positions will only require Tanker endorsement prior hire.
- No speeding violations for 20 mph or over in the past 3 years.
- No convictions for reckless driving, operating while under suspension or revocation, leaving the scene of an accident, fleeing an officer, drag racing, texting while driving, prohibited use of a hand -held mobile phone while driving, following too close, improper or erratic lane change within 3 years prior to the date of hire.
- No more than two convictions for moving violations in the past 3 years.
- No conviction for DWI, DUI, or refusal to take an alcohol test as required by a State or jurisdiction under its implied consent laws within the past 5 years. No more than two of these offenses ever.
- No preventable rearend collisions within the past 3 years.
- No suspensions for moving violations within the past year.
