Dry bulk
Our dry bulk local drivers typically deliver Portland cement - an essential ingredient for ready-mix concrete - from manufacturers to concrete plants within a 150-mile radius. Your job is essential in the process to create concrete used in residential, commercial and infrastructure construction. You may also transport other dry bulk products including lime, animal feeds and sand blasting materials. Dry bulk drivers at Florida Rock & Tank Lines average $71,000 per year.
As one of local petroleum drivers, you’ll haul petroleum products such as gasoline, diesel, aviation jet fuel and ethanol from bulk petroleum terminals to retail convenience stores and commercial customers within 75 miles. Our petroleum/tanker drivers average $85,000 annually depending on location.
Chemical company drivers at Florida Rock & Tank Lines deliver chemical products including industrial acids such as sulfuric, caustic and nitric acids to our commercial and industrial customers. Depending on your location, you can average $75,000 per year in this role.

In your first year working with us, you’ll get access to our new transition pay, six-month driver seniority pay, retention bonus and driver mentoring. You’ll also have the ability to increase your income even further through our quarterly and annual safety bonus equaling 6% of line haul pay. In 2021, we paid out over $1 million in safety bonuses to our drivers. Owner operator
The owner operators we partner with get the flexibility and freedom of running their own businesses while tapping into our extensive and consistent local freight network. Average $3,100-$3,900 per week depending on your location and what tanker commodity you’re hauling. You’ll get daily home time and weekly settlements as well as discounted fuel and tires, permit and fuel tank filing, and teaming up with one of the leading tanker truck companies in the industry.
